The world has lost another beauty today. The lovely Jean Simmons died in her home at the age of 80. She is most remembered for her roles in Elmer Gantry, Guys and Dolls, and Spartacus. She will be missed.
I know it's inevitable, but I always feel so sad when hearing of yet another golden era actor/actress passing away. Just furthers the gap between then and now. She truly was a beauty.

ReplyDeleteShe lived for much longer than her contemporaries did... Still, its sad to see her go. She was a great actress and beauty.
